Sunday on ABCs This Week With George Stephanopoulos, former Texas Governor and Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry said Donald Trumps remarks about Mexican immigrants being rapist and criminals were offensive.
Addressing Trumps criticism of his handling of border security Perry said I dont think he understands the challenge, obviously.
Perry continued, The fact is, I have said clearly that Donald Trump does not represent the Republican Party. I was offended by his remarks. Hispanics in America and Texas, from the Alamo to Afghanistan have been extraordinary people, citizens of our country and of our state. They have served nobly and to paint with that broad of a brush, like Donald Trump did, hes going to have to defend those remarks. I never will. And I will stand up and say those were offensive, which they were.

Is he defending the GOPe? Or is he defending ILLEGAL aliens?
Both,there’s no difference
It was a great day when we Texans finally dumped Perry.
(1)”...immigrants being rapist and criminals were offensive.
(2) I dont think he understands the challenge...”
(3) “Uh...”
According to La Raza Rick Perry's defenders there is.
They will tell you he is on bad terms with Karl Rove, Mr GOPe himself.
They have gone as far as to say Perry is a TEA Party conservative, even though Perry backed David Dewhurst and not TEA Party candidate Ted Cruz.
I disagree, of course, as I know Perry represents everything that is wrong with the Republican Party. But then, I don't have a heart so that's to be expected.
...yes...
Trump is wrong on so many things but he gets attacked when he says something true...
I really really don’t like Rick Perry
He talks like a dummass, which is sad for a former pilot
Perry flamed out the first time only partly due to his debate alzheimer’s moment. The real killer was his “heartless” remark. I guess his campaign consultants didn’t pick up on that in their polls.
Terribly disappointing.
I was holding out hope for Governor Perry this time around.
Bye-bye hope and bye-bye Perry.
Once an AGGIE, always an Aggie. Rick and I served together at Dyess AFB in the early 70’s. He was much more likeable, then.
“Perry, why, on earth, did you wade into this and support the liberal meme?...Idiot.”
Maybe because he agrees with them. Perry may be horrific when it comes to open borders (he certainly was as governor), but he is honest.
He has NEVER wavered from the Democrat position on border security.
I’ve always thought Perry was another corrupt, corporatist RINO, whose pistol-packing antics were Bubba-bait.
Why else would he hire the Barbour brothers, Henry and Austin, Haleys nephews,
I did not know that. Perrry and the Barbour thugs can kiss my azz. I want those ruthless corrupt rednecks run out of politics. I want their political careers ruined.
Perry showed a significant lack of judgement picking those clowns.
I hope he learned the three branches of government over the last four years. The guy is clueless.
Perry likes to take full credit for the strong economy in Texas over the last several years. There are two things that kept the economy strong in Texas — oil and gas.
The economy in Texas has been declining over the last few years because of oil and gas. Does Rick want credit for that too?

REMEMBER WHEN? Texas tax-payers did not even know then-Gov Perry was showering illegals w/ tax dollars---until the prez debate---when Perry glowered at Repubs....said we said were "heartless" b/c we opposed-in-state tuition.
THEN-GOV PERRY ADRESSES LA RAZA
PERRY SUCKS-UP LIKE NO MAN BEFORE HIM Perry
showered illegals w/tax benefits....including tax dollars to
educate them to overthrow the US govt.

In 2006, uber-liberal "Texas Rising" stated its mission: "developing an emerging generation of social justice-minded, informed and engaged leaders is essential to the long-term health of our communities and the development of progressive public policy in Texas."
...a sneak peak at the preliminary Social Studies textbook found including distortions, omissions and half-truths all passing for accurate high school US history...
And there's this gem: "The radical right consists of groups that sometimes gather under the flag of militant anticommunism. Often known as reactionaries, they denounce most forms of government regulation, including progressive taxation and restrictions and industry.Examples of political groups on the radical right are the John Birch Society, the National States & Rights party, The Christian Crusade, and the Tea Party movement."
Strangely enough, these cream puff radicals who abhor police power would not hesitate to use government police power to enforce the changes they desire.

THIRD WORLD INFILTRATION College Board exams changed history answers... revisionist historians developed different answers to the question of what Americas story is about. From their perspective, at the heart of our countrys historylike the history of any other powerful nationlies the pursuit of empire, of dominion over others. At its core, say the revisionists, Americas history is about our capacity for self-delusion, our endless attempts to justify raw power grabs with pretty fairy-tales about democracy. ....
NOTE WELL: This terrifying Third World revisionism is straight out of Third World textbooks---emphasizing the T/W effort to undermine US ntl security for the coming armed takeover.
The conniving T/W uses an ancient formula going back to Greco-Roman times---where savages, barbarians and thieves overrun a bountiful country lusting after its power and riches.
REFERENCE--- Some 10 years back, Texas schools started used Mexican textbooks for their backward illiterate Spanish-speaking students. Texas textbooks advocated the Mexican perspective including:
<><> anti-white, anti-capitalist anti-USA viewpoints;
<><> Mexican textbooks falsified US history,
<><> proselytized blood-thirsty La Raza savagery;
<><> using teaching as brainwashing;
<><> inculcating violent separatist, latino supremacy idealogy.

Here's Perry protecting US interests, US borders and US ntl security (/snix).
Then-Gov Perry receives a serape from Mexican Gov
Enrique Martinez of Coahuila, as a token of
appreciation for enacting the Texican Dream Act....
and showers of tax benefits, including in-state tuition.
It is hard to believe (sad really) that a man like that could have supporters at Free Republic.
I don’t think Trump said anything about Mexican Americans Rick. I think he’s talking about dregs of society coming from Mexico, Central America and God knows where else.
