It is not a percentage play for the other candidates to attack Trump's positions. Someone who believes what they say usually has the ammo and heart to fight back.

Rubio, what a shame. He has just about the best resume (laying aside his views), the best personality, and the best life story to appeal to voters. He chose the wrong side, now more than once. But he got a real pajama party with his buddies.

The article says that Trump tweeted Rubio “@marcorubio what do you say to the family of Kathryn Steinle in CA who was viciously killed b/c we can’t secure our border? Stand up for US.”
I assume Rubio is finished now and will fade out.
