SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — Donald Trump reignited the call to secure U.S. borders just hours after federal officials said the man arrested in the shooting death of a San Francisco woman was an undocumented immigrant who had previously been deported five times. CBS San Francisco reached out the Donald Trump presidential campaign who then released this written statement:
“This senseless and totally preventable act of violence committed by an illegal immigrant is yet another example of why we must secure our border immediately."

The left is going to make this an argument about guns, same face.
In a rational society (which we aren't) discussion would turn to the benefits and costs of each both catch and release, and gun policies.
Senator Jeff Sessions spoke out, like crazy, when Bush was pushing “immigration reform” and claiming it wasn’t “amnesty” (word games, arguing over what label would attach to absence of deportation and absence of border security).
A few might have said something. But were talking about pounding the drums of outrage, routinely going public, taking it to the people in a very vocal way.
Americans are dying, murdered, raped, shot, robbed, knifed and ran over. These are our people. And this has been going on for *decades*.
I was just sticking up for Sessions. He barely made a dent, working alone. Made him a pariah in the Senate.
The short-fingered Bulgarian also has a fake college - Trump U. that he has foisted upon those illegal immigrants who are trying to get an education.
Same thing with Pat Buchanan. Except he was called a Nazi and a racist. The political sultans of slander know their trade and will do and say anything.
Words are cheap. Today elected officials don’t think anything of changing their minds—They just say they said something during the campaign to get elected. The media doesn’t care and neither do most of the voters. SAD
Seriously good question. It is, again, Trump who delivers wake up calls to the jaw of the Republican field of sleepy candidates.

Our leaders do not have the will to close the border and deport the illegals. We have the military in spades, but the leaders are feckless.
I wish DOnald Trump would attend the funeral. It will get great publicity.

I hope he has some “community agitator” in him. This is the perfect moment for that. Your average Joe is primed to be agitated, just needs a little prodding and leading.
