Full disclosure: I dumped NASCAR after it had Michelle Obama and Joe Biden's wife do the "start your engines" call at Homestead. Absolutely stupid decision, and showed me that NASCAR was a slave to the big government bureaucracy.

That being said, I really really hope the fans retaliate on NASCAR for this horsecrap "request".

I see now how insulated the management and the owners are from the fans...for all the talk about freedom, God, and country, the NASCAR higher-ups have shown with this move that they are putting on a facade, ready to surrender at the bidding of Big Government.

Makes me want to puke. No testicular fortitude whatsoever.

And I hope the fans understand, the only way to fight this type of control is to not fund it or contribute to it. Hit them in the pocketbook. Hit them hard. Choke them off, do not roll over and hand them your cash. Otherwise expect more of the same at all levels.
