Latest poll: Trump 12%, Pataki 1%.
Republican presidential candidate George Pataki is hoping to grab some of the spotlight fellow candidate Donald Trump is occupying, by pressuring the rest of the field to denounce Trump's inflammatory comments on immigration.
-snip-
Trump responded to Pataki via Twitter on Wednesday, saying ".@GovernorPataki was a terrible governor of NY, one of the worst -- would've been swamped if he ran again!"

Nah... keep Trump in the race. The chances of beating Hillary are miniscule anyway. Let’s at least be entertained.

If this is all Pataki has to talk about, he should go fishing and save his money...

Agree. I have a gut feeling Trump will be endorsing Cruz at some point anyway.

Follow my thinking. Trump being in the race is awakening the beast. That would be law-abiding moral US citizens who want our country back. Part of that "beast" is supporting Sanders instead of hillary.
It would be a good thing if both sides could throw out the garbage.

Trump is sucking up all the air in the race.
And Pataki doesn’t like it.

Kind of speaks poorly about Pataki’s “leverage” to pressure anyone, anything....
To: EagleUSA
Pataki was a marginal governor, he should get out of the race. He has zero chance of winning the nomination.
He’s running for a cabinet position, and should just say so.

He’s not awakening anything but entertainment value. But for that alone he’s worth keeping around with his ability to make a few long-comfortable people squirm a bit.

I don’t get it!
Are people upset with Trump because he told a lie or he told a truth?

Hitlery will not get the commie nomination. No? Then who?

Pataki is at 1% and that is with a 3% margin of error. There is a very real possibility that George Pataki may not even exist.

There is a very real possibility that George Pataki may not even exist. That must mean he's one of the 94 million unemployed adults, who don't "exist" in the BLS labor stats!

Trump responded to Pataki via Twitter on Wednesday, saying ".@GovernorPataki was a terrible governor of NY, one of the worst -- would've been swamped if he ran again!" Of course he'd say that. For half of Pataki's term as Governor, Donald Trump was a registered Democrat. For two years of it, he was a member of the Independence Party.
That said, I'm not sure why George Pataki thinks he has any chance.
