Long story short, HP decided to cover their own ass and throw my company to the wolves by removing us from the NMCI contract over reports that my company did not screen him well about his past which does not surprise me with the crap that I hearing that was going on in the company rumor mill.
Praying for your safety!
Hoplophobia on parade again?
FOX reporting first floor cleared proceeding to your floor now.
Just looking at Twitter feeds - some are saying there’s no shooter, some say hoax, others say active shooter, etc. Nothing new from here. Emergency message has stopped playing but the lights are still flashing.
Emily Miller just put on her FB that she’s heading to the scene.
I think we’re likely to see numerous events like this in the next few days.
It wouldn’t take many “Shelter in place” incidents to do a whole lot of paralizin’ out there.
My Wife and I will be out and about today and tomorrow.
WITH our sidearms.
Last time it was a Black assailant that the media quickly forgot about
Same here.
I’m going to the Custer County, CO parade on the 4th. Every year there are over 500 people (County only has 1800 people) marching down main Street with their weapons of choice. A couple of County Sheriffs lead the parade.
NICE! Send pics?
You’re in my prayers...
It has been on YouTube. I just did a search and couldn’t find any of the parades of the past because there are so many small town parades on YouTube. I did see other open carry parades around the country, though. Will keep looking and send your way if I find any.
I’ll look it up. Thanks.
I’m thinking about buying a sig saur mosquito. I know, tiny, but I’m female and old.
I usually hit Urban Survival (financial bots) and Nostracodeus (global bots) at least once a week, too. Using the "emotional impact" of web words I can understand what they're saying.
Sometimes words like "war" mean people are very, very angry about something. It doesn't necessarily mean war literally. Add "emotional energy" words to non-emotional words (such as "car"), and the picture gets a little clearer. Add war+car and there's a good possibility something about automotive is going to infuriate people. Add "transport" to the list, and it'll change to anger at the cost of gas.
When I read them this way, the web bots get more hits.
During the great depression, people started to say they felt crippled by the economy. Shortly after the term become common lingo, there was the outbreak of polio. Once the economy recovered, the "cure" for polio entered the scene at the same time. Was it really the "cure" that ended polio, or was it really something else? The emotional language changed as soon as the economy started to recover.
Anyway, IF one of these shooters is named "ERIC", I'm going to freak. Been watching for an "Eric."
I interviewed a lady (for a job here) who had been in the building during the first shootings. She wasn’t right in the head. So I could easily see others over reacting to a sound they heard.
