It took him about 2:15 into a 6:49 clip to begin to address what he would do.

He first addressed securing the border. What is the fist thing any Leftist addresses when talking about illegal immigration? Isn’t it securing the border?

I’m not saying he’s a Leftist, but by gosh he’s sure got the talking points down. Ask any Leftist, and on this point they’re identical with Ted Cruz. They’ll secure that border. Here we are in 2015, and how much securing has been done? Zip!

Ted is a Senator right now. How many bills has he submitted to get the border secured? You tell me South40. 100? 10? 1? 0!

Next he does what every Leftist also does. Okay, when talking about illegal immigration, one thing we need to do is make legal immigration more streamlined.

Another words, if we want to stop three million illegals from coming across each year, we have to agree to four million legal entries each year. What a fantastic plan for stopping the takeover of the United States by the citizens of one nation on our border.

Ten years of this sort of policy would garner us not only 40 million immigrants, it would garner us untold chain immigration on top of that.

Evidently that is a fix to you way of thinking. It isn’t.

Then he brings Reagan’s name into it, to blur the issue even more. Another words, and we all know this is what Reagan would have done.

Frankly, with 30 million illegals in country, I’m not convinced Reagan’s first move would be to set up a plan to bring more people in even faster.

This does not impress me at all. In fact, so far it’s quite troubling.

As you know, I’m the sun of an immigrant... What has that got to do with ANYTHING, no matter how they came here? Sheesh... good freakin’ grief.

Next he says, if we focus on areas of bipartisan agreement, that’s how you get things done. Heaven help us. Ted. Seriously...

If you put in border enforcement, stop illegal immigration, and increase legal immigration you get an agreement.

Yes Ted, because then the illegal can walk across the border as legal as can be. That really helps doesn’t it.

And Ted, are you under the impression we have no legal border enforcement on the books today? Did we stop illegal immigration with it? No.

There’s not a snowball’s chance in hell you’ll get a bipartisan agreement and you damn well know it. Who are you kidding?

This is boiler plate clap trap. That’s all it is.

He assures us he’s a short term pessimist because he doesn’t think the Democrats in the Senate have any interest in solving this issue. Missing is the mention that the Republicans don’t either. This is just smoke and mirrors Ted. The days when you could lay off immigration problems on the Democrats are over.

He says that’s why Democrats focus on pathway to citizenship. They aren’t the only ones. The Republicans are on board a pathway. They just do their damnedest to lie about it.

Ted says he thinks amnesty is wrong. He gets a lot of applause. Says he is unequivocally against it. More applause...

Says it is inconsistent with the rule of law, and it is profoundly unfair to the millions of illegal immigrants. Lots more applause... says legal immigrants get left behind over and over and over again. It takes them years if not decades...

Says Obama has been cynical. Had Congressional majorities did nothing. He could have passed any dang thing he wanted. I’ve got one word in response. (BUSH!)

He thinks people are sick and tired of a partisanship in Washington. LOL, no Ted, right now I’m sick and tired of the lack of partisanship. I want Republicans to stand up for something.

At 6:15 Ted tell us what the first thing he would do is. Was asked to him up front. Took 6:15 of 6:49 to get to it.

Says he would rescind every illegal Executive Order by this president.

Whoops, not on topic. Crowd applauds to the end of the 6:49 segment.

I like Ted. He has been a guy I could vote for.

When it comes to boiler plate like this, it doesn’t move me.

He talks about no Amnesty, but nowhere does he mention repatriation. Lets face it, the sad little secret about Cruz is that at the end of the day, people stay, they achieve what they wanted to, and our nation is not set back on the right track.

Honestly, I don’t trust any of these guys. If you think I trust Cruz or Walker more on the issue of immigration than I do Trump, you’re wrong. I’ve been lied to by the best of them. Don’t even talk to me about Amnesty, until you provide an explanation for how people are repatriated.

Don’t talk to me about immigration numbers that supposedly haven’t changed since 2000. Don’t simply gloss over people being brought here from Islamic terrorist nations.

There’s just too much missing from Ted’s presentation, and my friends are simply too gullible for their own good.

I’ll bet you heard a lot more there than I did. You are comforting yourself falsely.

Cruz took office in January of 2013, a little over 2 years ago. I do believe he has spent a good deal of his time and energy since then fighting the nightmare that is Obamancare. Maybe you missed that. It was time well spent and made necessary thanks to the circus sideshow Donald Trump who helped the campaigns of Pelosi and Reid in 2006 which in turn helped make Obamacare possible.
