If I boycott Macy's, I won't have too many places to shop. I quit Penneys over their embrace of sodomites, and I won't shop at Sears because they sell junk. We used to have a ton of department stores when I was a lass. Plenty of choices. They're almost all gone now.

Haven’t shopped Macy’s in years. Macy’s used to be an upscale store, but now after buying May, it went middle class...rather buy from Dillard or even Sears.

As I have been pointing out on other Macy's threads, the Corporate management of the company that is now Macy's (Federated Department Stores) were the major players in setting up "Republicans For Johnson," the organization intended to torpedo the Presidential candidacy of Barry Goldwater, a true Conservative & patriot in 1964. They have a long, long history of promoting the brand of Republican who always betrays Conservative principles.

And most of us at Free Republic are well aware of what LBJ did to America!

I am not supporting any candidate yet, for 2016. But in 51 years, I have never been able to forgive or forget the stabbing in the back in 1964. And the idiotic statement issued by Macy's now, is cut from the same clothe as the 1964 smears of Barry Goldwater.

The best boycott makes a point: Go to Macys in mass. Grab a couple of thousand dollars of merchandise that you would like (preferably lots of small items). After the sales jockey rings up the items - but before payment — say, “oh, never mind, I just realized that Macys doesn’t like Donald Trump, I like Donald,” and then walk out.

If one person does it, then it is annoying. If thousands of people do it on the same day, then Macys is immobilized.
