I think almost all the dames on Fox are airheads. I can barely hear what they’re saying through the false eyelashes and push-up bras. I mean, at 7 in the morning??? No décolletage before 10am as Mammy said in Gone with the Wind.

Mammy was the greatest arbiter of social manners and moral obligations in the history of the US. “Oh, Mr. Rhett! You are baaaaaad!” “T’ain’t fittin’. It just t’ain’t fittin.” Not that Miss Melly was any slouch but there was only one Mammy.
With few exceptions, the news readers on TV, FoxNews included, are not paragons of intelligence. They are bright, attractive people who read the news to us. They are not chosen to think, and they are not particularly good at it.
