Judge Matt Johnson of Wacos 54th State District Court has ruled to allow a Dallas attorney to obtain Twin Peaks surveillance video from the restaurant franchisee to help him prepare for an August hearing, but the judge placed a protective order on the video, preventing it from being released to the public.
The judge also placed a gag order on prosecutors and attorneys involved in the case, limiting both sides from discussing the case in the media.
Johnson said he is concerned about causing a problem with jury pools if the video is released.
Attorney Clint Broden, who obtained the subpoena, objected to the protective order on the video and the gag order and said he will appeal both decisions.

Every biker gang nutrider is whining about how their “badass” outlaw biker gang boys are being bullied in jail. It’s hilarious.
not all of those killed were shot by cops.
Conservatives have ALWAYS supported Big Government, so long as it's THEIR Big Government.
That is unproven. As is the number of dead who died due to police gunfire.
“not all of those killed were shot by cops.”
Remember to keep believing every word published by your beloved AP with the permission of your god-king “president”, and to keep DOUBLING DOWN on the intolerant hatred for any opinion that differs from what you know to be true without question.
It’s how you roll.
Ah, I see you actually bought into that nonsense. Even the bikers who were there have testified that it was the bikers who started killing people in that parking lot.
If the cops killed anyone (and we still don’t know that is the case), it was to stop a riot started by criminals, so that is the fault of the criminals. Do you blame cops if they shoot some bank robbers who are committing a violent crime?
Yeah it would be hilarious if it didn’t make this site look like a haven for fruitcakes.
Nobody has been convicted yet, so how could either side of the due process argument be “criminal apologists?”
My guess - There will be criminal convictions among both those attending the political meeting, and among the police that fired onto the patio of the restaurant.
What do you think?
How do you like 177 people arrested without specific/individual charges? Does that view change when they are held on excessive bail?
“That is unproven.”
Well, that is what all the witness testimony available says. I highly doubt when the video is released it is going to tell a different story, but you can go on hoping for a miracle I suppose.
“As is the number of dead who died due to police gunfire.”
Correct, we don’t know that a single person died due to police gunfire, while we have testimony from witnesses confirming that the bikers killed multiple people.
“Yeah it would be hilarious if it didnt make this site look like a haven for fruitcakes.”
No one is laughing at what the fruitcakes have done to FR in support of murder and your god-king.
RIP Free Republic.
That outrage has been defended over and over on these threads. Mind boggling.
What was the UC cop in the red cowboy boots doing when the shooting started?
In the pictures just after, he is wearing a police bullet proof vest, and holding a rifle. (Travis Mcgee posts in earlier threads.)
Was he wearing a different vest when the shooting started?
Did he push anyone?
Was he discovered to be wearing the vest of a MC Club he did not actually belong to?
Hmmm...
“Nobody has been convicted yet, so how could either side of the due process argument be criminal apologists?”
Good question. Several posters around here have been attempting to paint a narrative that known criminal organizations are not known criminal organizations. They have been trying to tell people that these groups are just a bunch of ordinary law-abiding citizens. That’s why I call them “criminal apologists”. They are no different than people in the 50s who said “There is no such thing as the mafia! This is all persecution against legitimate Italian-American businessmen”.
“What do you think?”
I think that the leaders of the two gangs, and those gang members who can be shown directly involved in the violence will be getting stiff sentences. Most of the others will probably get off easy. I don’t think any cops will face any jailtime for their actions.
“How do you like 177 people arrested without specific/individual charges?”
It’s fine by me. If you are engaging in crimes on behalf of a criminal organization, organized crime charges seem appropriate. That’s what they are for.
“Does that view change when they are held on excessive bail?”
It might seem excessive, but it really is not out of line for organized crime cases.
Timmy was a biker. People hated Timmy because he liked wearing expensive Harley ass-jewelery. One day the cops threw him in jail and bullied him. Timmy went home in tears and killed himself. DON'T LET IT HAPPEN TO ANOTHER TIMMY! Fight biker bullying! Support Biker diversity and tolerance! RIDE THE HARLEY RAINBOW!
*YAWN*
That’s the best you can do in support of your beloved Obama and his murderous thugs?
“in support of murder and your god-king.”
What the heck is wrong with you? If I don’t support criminal biker gangs I must love Obama?
Do you think anyone actually believes that crap besides a few lunatics like you?
You want to make the assertions, you provide the evidence. Go ahead, show us where any eyewitness said the cops started shooting first...
