One man has been arrested after a fight over the Confederate flag in front of the South Carolina Statehouse.
The brawl started about 7:15 p.m. Monday when about a dozen vehicles with Confederate flag supporters pulled up in front of the Statehouse and stopped in the middle of the street, Public Safety Department spokeswoman Sherri Iacobelli said in a statement.
About 10 of the flag supporters clashed with about 30 people who were on the Statehouse grounds protesting the flag, the statement said.
“The blood on my face, the blood in my teeth, the blood on my hands is no comparison to the Southern blood that runs through my veins,” Joe Linder told CBS News.
Linder, who was hit during the fight, supports the Confederate flag and says “racism has no part” in it.
“I’m gonna tell you one thing, I ain’t sitting down; this’ll just make me walk taller,” he told CBS News.
About 50 officers responded and contained the clash, including officers from the Bureau of Protective Services assigned to the Statehouse, as well as Columbia police, University of South Carolina officers and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Because it was under threat of questioning and possible impeachment proceedings by its so called political opposition the regime started this war. It was through the use of racial division. It created persons engaged felonious assults on authority who were black youths into a victim of an evil society (thus approving their actions) out of whole cloth.
The regime began with the Zimmerman case which led to a series of assults by black youths on completely innocent whites,”hispanics”, and asians who were either targeted or wandered near or through black gang infested areas. The perpetators excuse; The reported “cold blood killing of Treyvon Martin because he was black”
It led to a score or more deaths and serious injuries. And it was met with silence while this was happening. Neither the locqatious POTUS or his political opposition uttered as much as a “Now!,Now! or a “tsk!,tsk!”
Those killings were referenced by the Charleston Church massacre perpetrator in his crazed manifesto.

Probably the first time in my life that I wish I was in Georgia. I’m sure that in Obama’s America, this will soon come to our community too. When it does, I’m ready.
Just yesterday I ordered a confederate flag to fly in my front yard (it was darn hard to find one, finally found an Internet site that had a couple in stock, most places were back ordered several months due to demand). Basically the only reason I intend to fly it is because the left doesn't want me too. It's another little way I can fly the bird at Obama and crew.

the media should be proud. This is what they wanted. They started this by coming here and saying the Confederate flag was not at half mast.does the media have a right to start a riot? Yes, certainly, they do it all the time.

I’m flying the SC secession flag. Guy yesterday knocked on my door and asked me why I was flying the confederate flag. He got an unexpected history lesson about this flag that first flew at Yale Univerdity in 1860, the year before SC seceded in 1861. I then asked him what he was doing standing on my property questioning me. And if I did fly the Confedreate flag, what business of it is his? (I live in SC). I fly many patriot flags..NOBODY is going to stop me. (Period!) This isn’t about racism, it is about the first amendment of the Constitution.

20 seconds into the video a woman picks up her little kid whose holding a black, red and green flag- isn’t that some sort of african nation flag?
That is a truly racist flag; it signifies black separatism and black supremacy.
Good for you, and that’s what we ALL need to do. Legislation is one thing, compliance is another. I’ll fly whatever flag I want, wear whatever shirt, refuse to surrender my guns (if they hadn’t sunk), etc. It’s time to just ignore the tyrants, and the never-satisfied PC police. The main reason they keep at it is because they are getting their way. SC needs to just say NO about removing the flag, but we ALL need to stop feeding the PC beast.
I’m in Texas and I’m willing to bet Texas and other border states are going to be hit with raids by the “Atzland”(SP?) thinkers/ISIS coming across the border and attacking the isolated ranch houses.
