Yup. Not fun for the happy couple.

I predict that Churches will not be forced to perform gay marriages. Churches do not hold a monopoly on performing marriages. There is an another option — the Justice of the Peace.

If it came up before the Supreme Court, one of the issues that they would consider is if gays have other options for marriage. The answer is absolutely yes. So, a gay couple is not prevented from getting married since they can go to the local city office and be married that way.

So churches are not forced to perform gay marriages and a gay couple can still be married. Problem solved. No doubt there will be militant gays who will force the issue all the way up to the Supreme Court but I predict that it would be shot down.

They are going after churches and such on local anti-discrimination laws.

Five people on the Supreme Court are dopes. They can be talked into anything by the prevailing culture (media) and the current talking points at the universities.
