Kentucky elected the McConnel that said he was going to stop Obama and do everything he can to repeal Obamacare. Mitch is a damned bald faced liar. We’ll see how the memories are in Kentucky next election cycle.

The best case scenario (and it's not real terrific) is if the global and national structures crumble while there are still people around with the integrity and skills to create islands where civilization endures. Us older folk are going to have to contribute what we can and besides that be prepared for a very long ride.

That's pretty much the trajectory the Roman Empire took. As it fell apart, there was a rise of the medieval city-states such as Venice. These "islands" preserved knowledge thru the Dark Ages.

Who cares what those ignorant, inbred Hillbillies think? They would vote for the sorry s.o.b. again tomorrow if they had the chance.

We could have had Matt Bevin in the GOP primary but Ann “sell-out” Coulter told conservatives that turtle Mitch was the better option. I believe that Bevin would have beaten Grimes by a bigger margin than what the turtle did.

Close. Some little German boys were on the bridge. The Brothers were riding in trucks and Webster jumps up with his diatribe. "Yeah! That's right! General f*****g Motors! You have horses! What were you thinking!"

Great scene.

I guess after our home grown communists erase our history concerning the Confederacy, they'll be going after our accomplishments during WW2, since our combat troops were 99.9% white men. (US military was segregated until the Battle of the Bulge when Patton asked for colored volunteers to fight. He was impressed with their willingness, much to our surprise.)

This is what happens when we raise a generation that believes they are entitled to all the free time they want. When enough people stop working - stop producing - and expect "the government" to pay for their idle time, there won't be enough "government money" to pay for everyone.

Next, they will plunder the lifetime savings of you and me. And then there is nothing left.

Imagine the Aesop fable of the grasshopper and the ant. Only this time, imagine that the grasshopper gets a thousand of his friends to raid the ant's stockpile.

And now, “General F@cking Motors” is owned by the medical pension of UAW and the US Government. [no one can convince me GM ever paid back the money - they just transferred to a debt with some other kind of name and provenance. The effect is the same on the taxpayer]

That’s because he WOULD be a better Senator.

So would Ronald McDonald and the Burger King for that matter.

We’ll see how the memories are in Kentucky next election cycle.

I'd wager they'll be about as good as the memories in Arizona next election cycle.
