True and on the non arson side of it many are heated by gas furnace. The Pilot Light goes out and the safety valve fails to cut off gas. We had this happen at our church fortunately it didn't explode and burn. The person who opened the doors on Sunday smelled gas and didn't flip a switch but did leave the door open to vent it out.
I have vivid and painful memories of black churches being burned in my own state when I was a child.
The STATE of CONFUSION!!!
If the church is where I think it is {University Ave area} there is another non racial factor and that is the homeless frequent the area. A significant number have mental issues and a fire started by homeless isn't that uncommon in Knoxville. It's not that far from the missions.
Yeah I mowed Moms place Friday and the ground was still cracked despite some rain last week. Thirty minutes after I got done we had a downpour. I'm about 20 miles north of Knoxville.
“I dont remember it being this bad in the 80s 90s or 2000s.”
I dont remember ANYTHING being this bad...” in the 80s 90s or 2000s.”
Everything has been at the very least TAINTED ...by the Obama Regime.
The Big Picture is Truly Ugly!
“The current sitting President of the United States is nearly 100% responsible for setting Race relations back 50 years.”
And it’s all on purpose. Everything he and the DemoFascists have done during the last 8 years is to deliberately foster class warfares of various stripes:
black - white
male - female
black - white - hispanic - asian
wealthy - poor
poor - middle-class
young - old
successful - unsuccessful
queer - straight
illegal alien - citizen
Christian - non-Christian
It’s all part of their plan to divide the nation and conquer it. Given the final straws of recent Supreme Court behavior and 30 years of LibralFascist government education, along with obamacare, open borders, the twisting of all the alphabet agencies into fascist operations dedicated to the destruction of those who dare speak out against the National Socialists, we’re 98% there already.
I’m in Athens, between Knoxville and Chattanooga. We’re getting good rains today. I woke up to thunder, lightening, and a heavy rain. :-)
We got rain last night and it looks good according to the forecast to get more the rest of the week. I sure hope so. I live in Anderson County near Norris back in the woods so to speak. Dry woods to this extreme make me nervous.
Yep. They got the flag down, so now they're lusting for blood.
"Never waste a good crises."
9 dead black people is a gold mine for the radical left. They're NOT going to let this gem get away. They're going to use it for all it's worth.
I do wonder if Lonsdale Ham is now a racist term also? LOL https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bologna_sandwich I’ve called it that because my dad who grew up there called it that. It was all they could afford. Real ham was a luxury.
I bet you have a ton of interesting stories. If you ever write them down or create a blog, please let me know.
Now that you mention it, I remember that too.
Exactly. And their rulebook is “Rules for Radicals”. Mark Levin had a great opening monologue about it yesterday.
Athens, as in the “Battle of Athens Tennessee” of course. I just read about it again the other day — an article at American Heritage. Maybe you have some other links too?
Yes, the Athens as in The Battle of Athens. I love my community. We have our issues but nothing like what we see going on in the rest of the country. It's a very Conservative slow living kind of Southern town. Here are some good links:
Church burnings and shark attacks—this is what was going on in the first week of September, 2001.
Will history repeat itself?
A perfect example of the saying:
“Correlation is NOT causation”.
We had our own war in my county in the late 1800’s. The Coal Creek War. http://www.coalcreekaml.com/Legacy.htm As for Bologna I grew up on it but as an adult I can no longer eat it. They’ve changed the way it’s made and the additives plus portions of meat they didn’t use before make it sickening {literally} for me to eat it.
Arson, yes...
but by the pastor or parishioners in order to fake a hate crime, perhaps?
Sad but true. In a Catholic Church near me this happened, about 10 years ago. The pastor was a flaming gay whose boyfriend had moved into the rectory. Between the two of them, they bled the Church dry with trips to Hawaii, the Bahamas, the casinos, etc., not to mention payments to their drug dealers.
When folks demanded to look at the books, all of a sudden there was a BIG church fire. A great diversion!
I don’t remember what happened after. No criminal charges. The boyfriend moved out of town. The pastor was sent “out west” for drug rehab. He is still an authorized priest, and shows up occasionally at a wedding or funeral.
Go figure!
A distinct possibility.
Also a ruse to cover up extensive embezzlement.
