amen
Although they will probably wait until after November 8, 2016.

LOL. Love it and I have no doubt it’s possible. Sometimes the only way to beat them is to play by their rules.
Ending exemptions, means churches are free to engage in political activity.
Churches existed before there was a federal income tax.
Churches should not need “tax exemptions”. The state may not taxes churches period.
But I think churches may start doing what you mention here, to stay within the law but also have zero taxable income .
it is not income tax that will hurt them, but property taxes; a large footprint building on a sizeable piece of property, a delectable target for local tax assessors...and good luck trying to downgrade the property on a churchground located smack dab in the middle of the suburbs...
Would the parishioners take up the slack...? I guess we’ll have to wait and see...
In other words, churches will go back to being what they always should have been: religious organizations.
That’s all fine and dandy, as long as you’re ok with them divesting their schools, hospitals, and other charitable organizations...
>>Churches existed before there was a federal income tax.<<
But they were not subject to an unstated tax.
You might want to re-examine my statement, using logic this time.
They were not taxed before the tax existed. They were not taxed when the tax came into existence.
This is now where they could be taxed where none existed before.
History pretty much says that Churches were exempt from taxes before the income tax.
Again — logic and historical knowledge.
>>Churches should not need tax exemptions. The state may not taxes churches period.<<
Scientology screwed that one up forever.
Matthew 17:
After Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma temple tax came to Peter and asked, Doesnt your teacher pay the temple tax?
25Yes, he does, he replied.
When Peter came into the house, Jesus was the first to speak. What do you think, Simon? he asked. From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxesfrom their own children or from others?
26From others, Peter answered.
Then the children are exempt, Jesus said to him. 27But so that we may not cause offense, go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours.
Yes HE will!!
I really don't care, we've been waiting for this time for 2,000 years, if there is a rapture I hope I make it, if not buying tickets to Israel.
