Kudos to them for absolving the cop who was used by the girl so cruelly and who undoubtedly suffers from his unintended role in her suicide. Anymore I would expect a gay couple in this situation to use it as an opportunity to trash some institution as picking on them. They tend to be a bit bitter, angry, and viscous lot.
You missed the point. The point is that the homosexual lesbian mothers of the deceased are deflecting. They say that the cop had no choice but to kill their mentally ill daughter, instead of taking responsibility for driving her insane because she had two mentally ill women raise her.
What made it even worse for the cop, was the gun she pointed at him in the midst of a convenience store robbery turned out to be a CO2 pistol.
