So they consider the cost and do it again. Pyrrhic victory.

Nothing an Executive Order can’t fix.

Not to worry.

He’s won plenty and we, as a nation, have lost plenty. Not enough for him. He’ll make up for it.

Don't mean a damn thing. King Obama is currently America's dictator and will ignore the SC.

“The Supreme Court handed Obama a significant loss on one of his biggest environmental initiatives”

I am surprised Roberts didn’t swing and sway. He swings both ways; and often swings left when his vote will make a difference.

Obama will simply ignore it, but we MUST allow gay marriage...it's the law.

"As IF I really care...I'll re-write the rules, delete a paragraph, and add a few caveats. Better yet, I'll have momma Valerie call a few of the investors in these big power companies. No problem. If I can't regulate the American people into energy poverty, I'll have big business "voluntarily" do it. Just like my Death Panels, support for homosexual behaviour, and illegals aliens."

The horse is already out of the gate on this one. The power plants and coal mines are already being shut down.

As somebody pointed out yesterday, the REALLY important thing about this week's decisions is that there is NEVER a single doubt about how Breyer, Kagan, Sotomayor and Ginsburg will vote.

They don't even need to read the briefs. They are there to vote, and that's what they do.

“JUSTICE KAGAN, with whom JUSTICE GINSBURG, JUSTICE BREYER, and JUSTICE SOTOMAYOR join, dissenting.”.

As usual, the four hard-left justices voted the leftist position without any consideration for the Constitution or for the rule of law. I no longer have any respect for the Supreme Court, so I expected that politicized result.

They did consider the costs and they determined that the costs would cause the power plants to shut down.

Notice how the country club Justices rule for big business when it involves their profit and loss and how they do not rule for ordinary conservative values when it does not effect the corporate bottom line. Does that tell you something about the country club GOPE rino wing?

I suppose the Supreme Soviet ruled this way just to try and placate the Conservatives. No sale.

The ruling doesn't matter. Obama will just ignore it like he always does if he doesn't agree with it.

It's nice to be King, no?

Goes to show that you can always count on four of the justices to always be on the “loser” side,no matter what the case is or the will of the general public. There are many cases they should have recused themselves on if they had any decency.

What? They didn't write “Congress The EPA passed the Affordable Care Act pollution rules for power plants to improve health insurance markets energy producers, not to destroy them. If at all possible we must interpret the Act in a way that is consistent with the former, and avoids the latter,”

and then just rewrite the pollution rules?

Why is Business Insider running a picture of coal power plant in Germany with this story on EPA rules on American coal plants?

Yes, the EPA has already gotten most of what the EnviroLobby wanted, BUT this is still a victory when you consider what the results of a reverse ruling would have been. This is a ruling FOR limitation of administrative rule making as opposed to imperial-type bureaucrat governance. This may have an influence on the current EPA “Waters” vs “Navigable Waters” overreach.

I hope!
