The Department of Education temporarily changed it's facebook profile logo to this rainbow colored theme on June 26, 2015. As of today, it was taken down, but still can be seen on it's sight by scrolling down. The comments were overwhelmingly negative.

My employer has gay this, gay that, and rainbow everything.
I have never treated a gay coworker any differently than anyone else.

How long before those of us who just do our jobs are "questioned" about our lack of diverse multicolor enthusiasm?
My bet is that being courteous, professional, decent, and hardworking will not be entirely sufficient sometime soon.

It’s a fearsome time. But go to the page and look at the comments. Even I was shocked at how many people castigated the DoE for this logo. People are seething.

There was a post here a couple of days ago about JP Morgan Chase’s LGBT sensitivity training. Employees are “asked” to be LGBT “allies”. There was a sheet of “suggestions” that allies were to print and post at their desks.

Indeed. The comments were so negative they RETRACTED and changed the logo back to their original.

Dozens of parents were saying they’re taking their kids out of public schools.

The Rainbow thing peaked last night on Facebook. About 5 % of users rainbowed their icons with a Facebook provided ap that they just surprisingly made available. Then someone started posting that all sexual predators now have to Rainbow their Facebook icons. That was funny. Now the rainbow people are starting to remove the rainbow.

My sons are all young adults now, and of course it’s up to them, but I’ve told them that should they and their future wives want to homeschool but for one reason or another could not, I would help them. No way I’d want my future grandkids to be brainwashed into accepting this depravity at a public school.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been yammering endlessly about gay everything.
Noticed quite a few of my straight friends (with new Facebook rainbow icons) acting as if their lives were now magically and materially changed with SCOTUS decision.

Most straight people do not even notice gay people until they begin making a spectacle of themselves.
Is it that hard to just wake up, go to work, commute home, have dinner, go to the gym, watch television, and go to sleep?
Repeat the next day when the alarm sounds.

Why would a gay person feel that their experience doing that is any different than anyone else?
There are people at work I have no idea if they are straight, gay, or something else. Just do your job and be professional, competent, friendly, and decent. LOL.
