Wal-Mart is apologizing for a store in Slidell, La., which refused to bake a cake designed as the Confederate battle flag but accepted a request to bake a cake that looked like the ISIS battle flag.
Chuck Netzhammer, a local resident, presented his story in a YouTube video Friday, saying, Alright, Wal-Mart, youve got some explaining to do. I went to go buy a cake from you all the other day with this image on it and yall wouldnt do it. I went back yesterday and managed to get the ISIS battle flag [cake instead].
Netzhammer shows the ISIS battle flag cake to the camera as well as the rejection letter Wal-Mart gave him for the confederate flag cake request. Netzhammer also shows the receipt that went along with the ISIS battle flag cake that Wal-Mart agreed to bake.

I answered your post straightforward, I then asked you why people who bake cakes should recognize the flag of that group over in the Middle East, and then asked you if you spoke Arabic, since that was a part of my earlier post.
You didn’t answer my question straightforward, in fact you didn’t answer it at all.
As much time as you spend here being contrary and combative, I figured you would have encountered the flag by now. Perhaps you should get out more?
The ones who know English have problems also:
Why the personal attacks, what is going on here that I don’t understand?
This looked like a simple thread, so what has set you off?
The typical WalMart worker using Wiki? HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Hey, at least it was done in Cursive.
So what if they followed the Directions down to the last detail, outside of misspelling “Underneath”.
What a perfect opportunity lost to experiment making a cake made of ham.
It’s really so easy to mau mau these big self righteous companies. Most of the employes are going to have knowledge of only what they’ve been fed on the nightly news casts, if that. You can basically fly right under the radar and plant a nice big cake, so to speak, right in their lap. The corporate types will then fly into a lather attempting to backpedal on whatever Idiocracy the employee has committed.
They'll bake this cake. No problem.
Unless you happen to be me, and recognize patterns regardless of whether or not you know the language.
I’m terrible at languages, 5 years of Spanish and 1 year of French did me no good at all.
One of the weirdest nights I had in France was telling stories in a French bar in a tiny village, where I would first tell it in Spanish to a Portuguese guy, who would then translate it to French for the rest of the bar.
Since I don’t actually speak Spanish, and even if I did, I doubt that a Portuguese guy in France could understand a Texan speaking some kind of Texas taught Spanish, but we were all having a ball with the bizarre and drunken language mash.
For all I know, he was a stand up comic telling who knows what, but it sure won the drinks.
Yes, they are employed at Wally World. Going into the pharmacy in North Texas is a drop dead reality moment. The women on the other side of the counter are wearing head scarves and look as though they might be/could be. However, in their defense, they are polite, and we’ve NEVER had a problem with prescriptions purchased from this store. In conclusion, they might also have hired the same type of men/pharmacists as well, judging by their appearance. Of course, this is the here and now. What the future might hold is anyone’s guess.
Wallmart acted stupidly..../s
No they did not. Remember, the cake he requested was the cake with the Confederate Flag.
You’re killing me. LOL
