Texas had its own war of Independence and had many historical battle flags that I love, I fly them and had some of them on my freerepublic home page. I used to look at the the CSA battle flag as just another battle flag of the past that represented the South in "The War of Northern Aggression". After this insane week I have a new love for it. The more the left wing kooks hate it, the more I embrace it. The more they go loco over it and scream take it down, the prouder I will display it. I never called it a "Rebel Flag" before, but since flying it now is an act of defiance that term may apply in some ways.
Whatever people want claim it meant flying 150 years ago is one thing, but to me it is certainly starting to take on new meanings now.
