The ruling by SCOTUS now legalizing homosexual marriage opens a very dangerous door.
The church will be attacked next....and very soon. Mark my words. There will be text cases where homosexual "couples" will go to conservative Bible believing churches and ask to be married there.
They will be denied, hopefully, and then the church will be sued for denying Constitutional rights. Will the pastor go to jail? Will the church lose its tax exempt status?
It has been the goal of the homosexual community to have the stigma of their lifestyle as accepted by the church.
Satan is moving fast.
Christians....get on your knees and be in fervent prayer.
Of course they are. And there is absolutely no legal basis to protect them unless they conform to the official position. When the official position was normal marriage, rogue churches were not punished. But that is because conservatives had no taste for punishing churches and liberals agreed with them. This is entirely different.
I wonder how many will cave and how many will keep their squishy “I love homosexuals” blather. It is their own fault in many ways for being AWOL during the debate for the last 20 years.

My predictions on a future revolt or break-up of the nation will come true now.

No. It's a Constitutional Right now. They can sue for denial of civil rights. It's not about tax-exemption.
The only solution is for churches to announce they no longer perform marriage ceremonies.

They will go after us first. If they can kill the big dog, the puppies are easy prey.
I don’t think that will do it because that does nothing to address the fact that ministers and priests have authority to act as functionaries of the state. Paying taxes in no wise addresses the fact that civil authority must obey civil law.
The Priests will be jailed and the Churches shuttered.
It marks the beginning of the end.
