It may give you some comfort to know, that this decision is a Civil action. It had nothing to do with the Catholic Sacrament of Holy Matrimony. Hence, nothing to do with the Holy Roman Catholic Church, the Bride of Christ. What was decided here meant nothing to Christ and His children.
