I don’t expect them to always agree with me but I do expect them to interpret the law, not write it.

Say what you will, this was not a decision based on law. It was a decision based on politics.

And it is a textbook case of “too big to fail”. Sadly, it effectively destroyed our constitution. The writing is now on the wall.

Good for him. This is the quality I like in Cruz. He has the courage to speak the truth plainly and no matter what.

Ted is right, but nobody will give up a lifetime appointment in return for a gig which comes up for renewal every two or six years.

Our district is blessed with a solid state representative who is now running for a judge position in our Commonwealth which lasts ten years between elections.

Some are quite critical because he just overwhelmingly won re-election last November. I'm saying he is making a good move because even if he fails to win election to the judge position, he still has his day job. Liberals never let go of an office they have until they've secured a higher office. Why shouldn't our side play by their rules?

The Supreme Court is not even remotely about justice. It is purely political, and it is the best reason for a convention of the states.

If they’re going to be political, then they might as well run for a term-limited office.

The exact opposite effect from the Founders’ intent has happened with them. (Helped along tremendously by the 17th amendment). Rather than tenure allowing them to be above politics, they have become purely political, and then they hang around for life.

Levin is right: Convention of the States to amend the Constitution. The nation is being lost anyway, so why not go for a hail Mary. We need only 13 states to prevent a truly egregious amendment from being passed.

He best keep his speech ready for copies because I am afraid we are not complete with our disappointment with the Supreme Court. I have a terrible feeling that the Supreme Court is going to make Gay Marriage the law of the land. I deeply pray I am wrong.

Ted, send a memo to the House: Don’t urge Roberts and the gang to resign and run for Congress. Impeach them. They’ve broken their oath to uphold the Constitution. That’s a High Crime or Misdemeanor any day.
