The Cross will have its turn, probably before the end of next summer.

Not likely...the Confederate flag is of marginal relevance to the majority of the country...can’t say that about the Cross...

Could have fooled me in the midst of all this media feces-flinging about that "marginally-relevant" flag.

"Progress" is coming very rapidly now. The Supreme Court is Leftist by 6-3. Roberts is firmly on the left with Sotomayor and colleagues and Kennedy can't be the swing vote any more so he will stay on the Left. His social acceptance depends on him being reliably Left and he will be that now that he cannot get notice by being the deciding vote. Republicans all around the country are rushing to fall on their faces in obeisance to the Sultan and his pashas in the matter of the Flag. I believe the Cross will be in the crosshairs and under the drumbeat of its shamefulness before the end of next summer and the Republicans will call for its removal from all places visible to the public. Private possession of a cross will not be banned, at least not for a while but will be shamed with all the power of the righteousness of the Left.

The Left thinks it is on the verge of winning its Revolution. They are racing to tie up loose ends. I believe there will be some sort of climax next summer. Right now the only thing I can think of that might shake them loose would be a nuclear attack on an American city. That would not avoid the total dictatorship but would put one of "our tribe" in power for a time.
