For the first time in years, Republican leaders feel they have the political capital to truly fight back against a small group of dissenters within their ranks. Senior members of GOP leadership say they are finally ready to impose the no-nonsense management style theyve long believed in, but resisted from fully instituting.
Congressional perks must be earned. Trips abroad are a privilege, not a right. And good luck getting legislation if you cross leadership.
Thats not it. Failing to pay member dues to the National Republican Congressional Committee could committee gavel.
Senior GOP leadership figures repeated the same line: the right-wing dissenters want all the perks, but none of the responsibility, of being in the majority.
When we are entrusted by our team with a position of responsibility, we have an obligation to live up to those responsibilities, Boehner told the Republican conference at a meeting Wednesday, according to a source in the room. We are in the majority. Part of being in the majority is advancing an agenda a conservative agenda. You may not agree with every part of the agenda, and when you dont, you can vote your conscience. But voting against rules is not a vote of conscience; it is a vote to hand the House floor over to Nancy Pelosi.

There’s that “But” word, you know, the one that says “everything I just said is a lie”.
GOPe: We are liberal Democrats. Get in line, you damned conservatives.
The lesser evil robots will click their heels and salute.
“a conservative agenda”
Name one conservative achievement, Boner.
Short Answer: There aren’t any.
Third party -— ?
We are in the majority. Part of being in the majority is advancing an agenda a conservative agenda.”
When will that be John, you a**hole.
First, it’s very hard to see that Boehner and McConnell have any real opposition. Jim Jordan is the only reliable one I can find. Ted Cruz on some issues, Mike Lee on a couple. That’s pretty much it. Almost every “conservative” we’ve sent to D.C. has stabbed us in the back, not just once or twice but all the time. Think: Pat Toomey, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio.
FU Tears Boner.
It is only a vote to turn the floor over to Nancy Pelosi, Sen. Boehner, if you lack the respect to work with the country you have as opposed to whatever the heck you have going there in John Boehner land.
Boehner has been more effective than Pelosi at repressing conservatives.
They have no fear of consequences, are incapable of introspection and will tolerate no correction of their treachery. Loathsome.

I’d love to see boner bawl his eyes out as he hands the gavel over to Pelosi.
This shows the utter didain that buttwipes like Boner and McDonald hold the voters in that elected them into a position of power.
We may need to vote Democratic in the next cycle to wipe out these arrogant pr#cks. It is like cutting out a cancer, the surgery may kill you but you really don’t have a choice. When you recover you are stronger and whole once again.
[ Third party - ? ]
No, we don’t need a Third Party you damned fool, what really need is an honest to goodness actual SECOND PARTY!!!
We currently ONLY have ONE party!!! “The Uni-Party” or when referring to Bohner and McConnell the Eunuch-Party...
Bonehead is practicing his Alinsky here. He is no conservative and has no intentions of pushing a real conservative agenda here.
CGato
I like that:
The Eunuch Wing of the UniParty.
That describes the GOP under Boehner/McConnell
I will vote for a democrat before I vote for a rino.
Remember 1990 when Boehner was a member of “The Gang of Seven”.
I guess he doesn’t remember.
