The "logic" was that people of all races were coming together in disgust about the slaughter of people in a church. Something had to be done to "stir the pot". What an insult to the memory of the victims, who didn't die because of a flag.

I'm wondering if the puppetmasters didn't go a little too far here. A surprising percentage of people realize that erasing the past does not make for a better present or future.
