I'll go where I please. I've been all over and met sincere people everywhere. The post I responded to elevated insincerity to the level of a virtue. You can defend it if you want.

Yes, I can defend it. Suppressing the urge to be honestly nasty to others is a social virtue. Not having the urge to be nasty to others is a personal virtue. (The virtue of humility, to be precise). The latter is morally superior to the former, but the former is extremely beneficially if one is interested in a pleasant social environment.
