A person flying the flag belongs in the racist box. A pro gun bumper sticker, put them in the criminal racist box. A rainbow flag, give them the medal of honor and put them in the hero box.
I want them going nuts trying to figure out how to put me in all the boxes. I have flags and bumper stickers for all the bad boy boxes. Perhaps the ISIS types can dismantle me so a piece can go in each box.

All that is absolutely true. But my point is that the prominent association between Roof’s horrendous act and the confederate flag is the only thing people will remember.
