“lots of conservatives are not from or in the south, we do not see the flag as anything but divisive, defeated, disrespectful and no different than the NAZI flag. It belongs in a museum, not as a standard for Republicans or conservatives. Politics aside, only a clueless and bigoted racist would continue to insist on flying that flag. And if you are not, do you really want to have to keep explaining that you are not?!”
Lots of Conservatives ARE from the South and have a much different view of the flag than you. I don’t believe you know me well enough to call me a clueless bigot nor do I believe you know much about Southerners. You say you’re Conservative but you appear to be ready to go to war with Conservatives and it appears most of your comments are directed at undermining the one true Conservative in the Presidential race, Senator Ted Cruz.
Regarding Cruz, I'm not critical just of him, and I did support him. And critical overstates my questions. I'm concerned he is giving non answers. I am bothered by his lack of clarity on illegal aliens and on his previously stated and unretracted support of massive H1B increases. To be honest, I have problems with all of the candidates on one point or another. Isn't that the whole point of campaigns is we get to thresh these out and come up with a standard bearer? Too many here and elsewhere want lemming-like obedience and no inconvenient questions about their current favorite. An echo chamber of yes people is poor discourse, especially when rude insults are heaped on critical thinking.
Anyway, thank you for the reply and clarity.
