Nope, my exact comment was "The Confederate Battle Flag wasn't put there until the 1960s", in response to this thread topic discussing whether to remove the Confederate flag from the State House grounds. That is 100% accurate. The battle flag NEVER flew over the state capitol during the civil war, and was put there in the 1960s by a Democrat.

Your great grand granddaddy marching around with it in other states during the war to defend slavery doesn't count and is not relevant to the thread's topic about whether it belongs on the state capitol grounds.
