Hunt is on for suspect in NOPD officer's slaying: 'He will pay for what he did,' chief says

A multi-agency manhunt is underway for Travis Boys, the 33-year-old accused of fatally shooting veteran NOPD Officer Daryle Holloway Saturday morning (June 20) while being transported in the back of Holloway's police vehicle.

Boys was arrested for aggravated assault and on his way to Central Lockup around 8 a.m. when he somehow managed to maneuver his hands -- which were handcuffed behind his back -- to his front and make his way through an opening in the cage inside Holloway's vehicle, said NOPD Superintendent Michael Harrison. He and Holloway fought, Harrison said, before Boys managed to fatally shoot the 22-year veteran officer and father.

Hope they follow what happened to that POS who shot a florida trooper some years ago. The guy was shot something like 60 times. When asked why they shot him 60+ times, the local sheriff said: because that was all the ammo they had.

Also a price will be put on Boys head and crime stoppers usually works pretty well down here, people will sell out their relatives for the money.

I actually don’t worry too much down here. People, both black and white, won’t allow it. Louisiana is 1/3 black and the vast majority of them are good hard working people. Good times and good neighbors.
