The presumption of innocence in court.
Their feelings had nothing to do with setting bail.

He’s already confessed to the crime. There’s nothing wrong with the family members being able to say they forgive the man who confessed to the crime of killing their loved one. He still gets his trial.

If anything, they made him more human. It was the first time I saw him without a smirk on his face.
