Which Republican presidential candidates support amnesty? I have analyzed all the major Republican presidential candidates (except Ben Carson and Rick Sanctorum, who are long shots, and Donald Trump, who has undocumented hair). I have found that all the major presidential candidates support amnesty for illegal aliens, except for one. Can you guess which one?

Love it! Wish our candidates would take that hard line!

Maybe I’m an outlier in my opinion on illegals, but I think a candidate who would take a tough stance on deportation would run away with this election. People are Fed Up!

I don’t like having to be that way, but what else is there to do?

These folks just don’t get it.

Ten Four, and that conversation ought to be how we can most efficiently Finally enforce the law and begin massive deportation, starting with those who have broken other laws and those on public assistance.

"Well, I guess we have no one who is running who holds your position on illegal immigration?"

Trump would:

Build a wall

Require compliance with e verify, backed by criminal prosecution

Enforce current law

Yes, yes there is.

What he and Cruz need to do is clarify what they mean literally when they say “enforce the law”. I think we are so eaten up with PC baloney that the majority won’t come out and say that they want deportation when that is Exactly what they want.

Maybe they do. We have to make them change. Like Walker.

Once I understood TPA better, I don’t see it as a transfer of power. TPA actually makes the President more accountable to Congress, mandates Congress’s involvement in the negotiations, and puts restrictions on what the President can agree to that he currently doesn’t have. TPA also gives you and I some transparency of the finished product before Congress votes, which is also something we don’t have now. Cruz is no fool and knows every word of the Constitution by heart since the age of 13, and has defended our Sovereignty before the Supreme Court more than once. More than anyone else in Congress, he knows and respects the Constitution.

Don’t get me wrong. I would love to round up every single one of them and dump them back across the border. I just don’t think any elected official could withstand the hue and cry from the left and the MSM over it. They would be crucified.

More than likely if the President just announced he was going to do it and then opened up a one way lane back across the border most illegals would start leaving.

However, the rest of us define it as letting them stay. And Cruz would let them stay, legally:

In that vain don’t forget Cruz’s father, Rafael, came to
the US in 1957 didn’t become a US citizen until 2005.

I don’t give up....but I study, understand and write about human nature and economics (which are really the same topic in many ways).

You stop the government hand outs, then the lowest of the low will go home, because it was the gov hand outs that brought them here.

Secure the border, and the bleeding stops.

Just those two things would make a dramatic difference within a year or two. DRAMATIC.

Then understand that welfare, EBT, Obama Phones and so on ARE PART OF THE IMMIGRATION jobs picture. It is the hammock lifestyle our government has created that, when mixed with human nature, guarantees that millions of Americans will not do manual labor.

This problem took 70 years or so to get to this point. It was all caused by governments creating inverse incentives and then human nature applying itself to a week border. It will not be solved overnight, and it will not be solved by force. (except the border part).

It will solve itself if you incentivize people properly. Human nature is the most powerful force on earth ultimately. Swimming against the tide will never work in the long run.

Brilliantly succinct, and on the money. They will leave indeed. And not only will they leave, the most damaging of them will leave first.....

Bad analogy, but you bore me too much to bother with you and explain it to you.

Well, I’ll take the obvious failures of your absurd example. No one goes into the prostitution industry attempting to play by the rules and following the law. No one hires their prostitutes from the latino population because the blacks and whites are showing less interest in doing it. Government is not the reason prostitution prospers. You can’t say that 70 years of failed policies is why we have prostitution.

All of those things are 180 degrees out of phase with the problem at hand. Total and complete waste of time and epic failure.

you really aren’t smart enough to bother with. I mean, for you to say that I don’t think illegal immigration is a problem is just an intentional lie on your part, or you simply are dumber than I thought.

I’ve stated the way to solve it, or at least get it under control. You have a mastubatory fantasy that’s never gonna happen.

And FTR, is La Raza against citizenship ever? I am. Is La Raza against voting ever? I am. Is La Raza for the halting of government hand outs? I am. Is La Raza for the securing of the border? I am.

What a stupid post by you.

That is so true......it’s a 70 year old problem, give or take, and it’s all caused by poor government policies (on both sides of the border) - a failure by our government to even carry out the good policies, time, opportunity and human nature.

When you add opportunity plus human nature....like say the opportunity to sneak across and let gringo government support you - then human nature dictates that many are going to do that.
