A Walker-Rubio ticket sounds good and I agree that it could be a ticket that would be hard to beat. I like their more conservative attitudes toward governing and the respect for the US Constitution. They may not be perfect, but they are good enough for me. None of the Democrats are worthy of consideration, esp. Hillary and Bernie.

I also like the notion of a more youthful ticket, yet experienced in government. Many of the young voters are influenced by surface values and emotions - unfortunately. There is no doubt that both men are good looking. (HaHa!)

They are both men of strong Christian beliefs too, and have nice families - which is just window dressing, but it helps. That is my 2 cents worth.

As mentioned, I prefer Cruz on top of the ticket. But unlike many on FR, I believe his voting record makes Rubio a Conservative...he is one of the highest rated each time the ratings come out.

But, I am just thinking about the map. If Cruz isn’t on the ticket, here is what I see:

The Dems will have a Hispanic on their ticket. Rubio would neutralize it. He/Walker would DESTROY Hillary on the podium...not even debating, but by appearances. Florida would be off the map. I think we’d flip WI and maybe MI. We’d win OH and probably flip IA. All of those know him well.

Rubio would carry Florida. We’d get support, I believe, in CO and NV. I think we might even flip Va.

Just my opinion.
