I was right. At that point it was *impossible to know with 100% certainty* why the jerk did what he did. No one knew any details yet. Yet he stated it as fact.

He also somehow knew, from the those horrible first surveillance photos, that the guy resembled Opie from Andy Griffith, which it turned out he did. But no one in their right mind would have thought the guy in those first photos looked anything like Opie from AG.
If I didn’t know better, I’d think our friend here knew this lunatic personally.
