I’m pretty much disgusted with all of them.

Just when you think your guy is solid, he goes out and supports a feeder bill to something we all oppose.

I’d don’t ask for perfection, but good grief, how about someone that at least exists in that neighborhood.

Here’s my take on TPA and TPP. Now that I understand TPA, I support it for the requirement of 60 day review of trade agreements before the vote, and that it requires Congress to be involved in the negotiations, and restricts what the President can agree to.

I don’t think Cruz has any intention of voting for TPP. I think he seized the opportunity to secure TPA for the next President. I know that TPA has in the past been followed by trade agreements being passed, but we have never had a President so distrusted, nor have we had one that was such an abysmal negotiator. The TPP would likely not come up for vote according to the timetable I’ve looked at before late 2016. There are going to be a lot of folks from the Senate and House up for re election. I don’t think they will vote for TPP and risk infuriating the voters. It will only take a handful of Republicans to defeat TPP and we have that.

Now for Donald Trump I just finished listening to his speech. I paid particular attention to everything he said he would do as President:

Repeal Obamacare

Build a fence and secure the border

Repeal Common Core

Strike down Obama’s Executive Order on Immigration

Strengthen the military and care for veterans

Defeat ISIS

Restore the American Dream by bringing back jobs and manufacturing.

If you add Abolish the IRS, he sounds just like Cruz. I trust Cruz. The Donald??? Meh.

Someone like Cruz, and most of the others need big money donors in order to run.

This is what happens every time. The need for campaign cash wins over principles.

My irritation is that the politician will literally dump on the supporters and try to package a bad policy as though it isn't what it really is.

I figure on this trade bill, that the GOP is all for it because they want it if they win. Right there is the problem. We will have another RINO extraordinaire that will lose and Hillary will benefit.
