Cruz has authored 80+ SCOTUS briefs and presented 40+ oral arguments before The Court.

There was probably something in there that was useful to American humanity.

Carson isn’t even in the same ballpark as Cruz, he isn’t even in the same zip code!

I wouldn’t vote for a black Jesus running for President...
for the next few years if it’s black or even mulatto it’s a NO..

Angry?..... absolutely.. but I’m most angry at blacks that will not speak the truth.. or even allude to it..
true.... a few do.... but it’s SOooooo few it’s obscene.. tragic really..

Black abortions are off the scale... relief is in sight.. /angry snide
Jesus will come back “pissed off”, if at all..

The best comedian could not make this stuff up..

What a mess this is going to be for a few months until support
from both money and voters shortens the field.

Very well stated. I think he would get swallowed in the debates. We’ll find out and i could be very wrong.

But not even a local mayor or council member? ouch.

Like hiring a new architect to build a 100 million dollar building.

Some have predicted that the 2016 election will have cost $2 Billion, considering all candidates and parties.

No wonder wannabes have to start the day after the previous presidential election.

Yes he gave 11 Supreme Court rulings. He had a few other positions in lower political seats. And he has some time in the Senate that doesn’t show many results. I guess he is a bit higher then Carson the Doctor but not much.

LOL, do you like playing idiot? For a guy running to head the Executive branch, and appoint federal judges and the Supreme Court, and defeat the democrats in his cultural and legal decisions and executive orders as a President, it is hard to think of someone more qualified that Senator Cruz

Solicitor General of Texas from 2003 - May 2008, Cruz was the first Hispanic Solicitor General in Texas, the youngest Solicitor General in the entire country, not to mention the longest tenure in Texas history.

Partner at the law firm Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, where he led the firm’s U.S. Supreme Court and national appellate litigation practice.

Cruz has authored 80+ SCOTUS briefs and presented 40+ oral arguments before The Court

Cruz served as a law clerk to Chief Justice William Rehnquist. Cruz was the first Hispanic ever to clerk for a Chief Justice of the United States

Described as a ‘superb’ constitutional lawyer, the man’s considerable skills and laser-like focus were on display for all when he took oily reptile Eric Holder by the neck and made him ‘answer the damn question’.

In the landmark case of District of Columbia v. Heller, Cruz assembled a coalition of 31 states in defense of the principle that the 2nd Amendment guarantees an individual right to keep and bear arms.

Cruz presented oral argument for the amici states in the companion case to Heller before the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.

In addition to his victory in Heller, Cruz has successfully defended the Ten Commandments monument on the Texas State Capitol grounds, the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools and the majority of the 2003 Texas redistricting plan.

Cruz also successfully defended, in Medellin v. Texas, the State of Texas against an attempt by the International Court of Justice to re-open the criminal convictions of 51 murderers on death row throughout the United States.

Director of the Office of Policy Planning at the Federal Trade Commission

Domestic Policy Advisor to U.S. President George W. Bush on the 2000 Bush-Cheney campaign.

Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, where he taught U.S. Supreme Court litigation

Ted Cruz is currently junior US Senator from Texas. In order to win the 2012 Republican nomination for the Senate seat vacated by Kay Bailey Hutchison, Cruz had to defeat Texas Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst -heavily favored/backed by the DC old-guard GOP- in the Republican primary runoff. In the event, TEA Party favorite Cruz crushed Dewhurst, 57-43%...
he then beat Democrat Paul Sadler in the general election by a similar margin, 56-41. Cruz is also endorsed by the Tea Party Movement and the Republican Liberty Caucus.

AWARDS: “America’s Leading Lawyers for Business,” Chambers USA (2009 & 2010) “50 Most Influential Minority Lawyers in America,” National Law Journal (2008) “25 Greatest Texas Lawyers of the Past Quarter Century,” Texas Lawyer (2010) “20 Young Hispanic Americans on the Rise,” Newsweek (1999) Traphagen Distinguished Alumnus, Harvard Law School

On November 14, 2012, Cruz was appointed vice-chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee. He is now spearheading efforts in the Senate to have root-and-branch...

Our federal government has become such an enormous cesspool of political corruption, maybe only an outsider can fix it. Even with our high taxes, we’re still $18 trillion in debt.

Do we really want someone ‘’experienced’’ in the current type of government that is destroying us?

Ben Carson seems like the kind of person who would not have performed his first brain operation unless he was certain he would do a good job at it — and the same is likely true of his decision to run for president.

Shouldn’t we at least be open-minded about him?

We have an election to win, we can’t be polite to every oddball who thinks that he can retire from totally unrelated work in his mid 60s, and then enter politics by becoming President of the United States and Commander in Chief in his first election.

These distractions get annoying.

It is hard to imagine a better resume to undo all these legal traps, and pitfalls, and executive orders that Obama has done.

The worst that Obmam has done, is all the questionable legal games that he has used, exploited, and created.

Cruz seems the guy who could clean house of the web of Obama”s legally questionable orders and changes.

Cruz has authored a number of bills that have been signed into law. Before he was a Senator, he was Texas Solicitor General for 5 1/2 years.

Ben Carson seems the least likely guy who is ready to hit the ground running as leader of the Executive branch, and undo Obama’s 8 years of legalistic works.

From the Monmouth.edu website:

June 11-14, 2015 poll of 1002 adults.

This release based on 351 registered voters who identify themselves as Republicans or lean toward the Republican Party.

This apparently passes for science at Monmouth.
