I really wonder how big the black community is in Spokane? Anyone from there listening?
The NW, like most of the NE (New England, anyway) isn’t known for huge numbers of African Americans.
It's really small. 2%, or roughly 4000 folks total. SOURCE. We don't have race riots but sometimes we have gang fights between the Realtree wearers and the Mossy Oak mob.
Acording to wiki, Spokane is 2.3% black. Metro area would be a much smaller percentage.
