Hillary Clinton is often at the center of controversy. But it would be a mistake to think this has undermined her candidacy, at least based on polling so far. As a political figure, she has a strong foundation.
Here are five charts, showing why she remains formidable

Look last POTUS election Romney fought the Conservatives tooth and nail. I hated it but he was a fighter and showed it. If he had taken it to Obastard with same verve as he beat up conservatives I would have sent him money and supported him. He was Milquetoast against the magic negro.
Are we truly a third world country that we would elect a common criminal to the highest public office?
The shrill and unappealing Hillary will be very difficult to beat, unless we nominate that terrifying mountain of RINO jello Jeb.
At least that’s what the WSJ wants us to believe.
Why can’t we change the Electoral College to eliminate the winner-takes-all system of awarding electoral votes? Outside the big cities, CA, PA, NY, FL, MI and several others are really quite conservative. Even if the Republicans only get say, 25% of the vote in California, they can still get 25% of the state’s electoral votes. otherwise, conservative Californians, New Yorkers, etc. are effectively disenfranchied.

Hillaryous Rotten Criminal? Hard to beat?

Just beat it.
Who says any of the other states will go the same as they did then?
It’s a battle of ideas, and every state is up for grabs.
And the WSJ is wrong - Hillary’s numbers are already tanking, and the debate has hardly started. The more the public sees of Hillary, more votes go Republican. Throw in a summer of black riots, and the deal is sealed.
Hillary’s going down.
Most women if they are twits or not will vote for HELLary...
because she is a woman... kinda..
These broads voting for the “sisterhood” is annoying.
I kinow a few as well. It doesn’t matter to them that she is simply the most corrupt, incompetent, and money grubbing witch on the planet. She’s gt a vagina, and that’s all that matters.
It is impossible to reason with them, and there is no point in doing so. So we must get out someone who will beat her mercilessly.
At this stage, all of the announced candidates are infinitely more preferable to her. Now whether they can win is another story.
Hillary needs to be tied to a post and burned alive over Libya and the Clinton Foundation. New stuff needs to surface about their “charity work” and hammered until she loses her composure and she is nailed down as being a member in good standing of the .1 percent.
A moron from the left....I am sick of these so called experts blathering
Sorry I got NC wrong. Maybe it FL, OH, VA, and one more state.
In any case, as you pointed out, the Democrats start with the race over half won. They could run Biden and have a good chance of winning.
Perhaps. But lots and lots of folks like that (D) after her name. I've talked to many democrats who don't like Hillary. But not a single one has told me they won't vote for her in the general election.
If Hillary wins the nomination, she is absolutely the favorite to win the general election. The Republicans most able to stop her are, in my opinion, Rand Paul and Donald Trump. Neither is my top pick, but that's my humble opinion.
Bingo. Even over at DU, several were complaining about her "third or fourth" kick off yesterday. They said her delivery was awful - that she just read the speech from notes with little emotion and excitement.
Her biggest advantage will be the Republican Leadership, they will Probably Finance Her Campaign.
But how many of them said they wouldn't support her in the general election? I'll bet it's few to none.
Bernie Sanders does have a lot of hard left support, and he just might upset Hillary in the primaries. But that's a long shot, probably only possible if Hillary makes a series of major gaffs.
Otherwise, Hillary will probably win the democratic primary, and then the general election, even if all she does is stand at a podium and reads old soup recipes.
Yep, I'm that pessimistic.
She’ll win because she’s a woman. At least that’s what we’ll be told. The truth is she was selected by the powers that be.
If I had to lay money on it, I’d bet on her being our next President, sadly.
Here are five meaningless graphs since the only thing they measure is name recognition and the fact that she is a female.
Doesn’t mean a thing.
Very little likelihood that she sparks near the appeal that Obama did with ANY constituency the Democrats need to win. Most especially as the woman vote can be wrestled away with a woman on the ticket for the Republicans. Particularly a Latino or Black woman. Both are available and Conservative on the Republican side.
The biggest detriment to Hillary and the Democrats in general is still being glossed over. The Democrats running and their bench are ANCIENT. Like Ancient Egypt ancient! Hillary is the Young Turk at damn near seventy come inauguration day, already able to collect her Social Security for going on a decade.
Is the Democrat Party responsible for providing the walkers for the debates or are the candidates bringing their own Hover Rounds and Rascals? God knows they better install ramps as none of their candidates are still able to negotiate a full flight of stairs. Will they have to provide their own oxygen tanks or will the party provide those as well?
Reagan was trailing Carter in the polls by substantial numbers just days before the 1980 election and a massive landslide victory. Polls sixteen months prior to the election are of no value and maybe of negative value.
What are “powers that be”? Really?
The reality is a majority of Americans are spoiled, selfish, evil scum and we are going to get the government we deserve.
The “powers that be” are us.
