If you’ve been following the Rachel Dolezal story online, you may have seen the word “transracial” being thrown around and people saying choosing to be black is like Caitlyn Jenner choosing to be female. It’s unclear how much of it’s sincere and how much is just straight-up trolling, but MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry entertained the notion on her show today with kind of a huge question.
“Is it possible that she might actually be black?”
While not wanting to make the transgender comparison, Harris-Perry questioned whether one can be “cisblack and transblack,” and whether there’s a way to describe “the achievement of blackness despite one’s parentage.”
Alyson Hobbs, who literally wrote the book on “racial passing,” said there’s “certainly a chance that she identifies as a black woman and there could be authenticity to that.”

In chemistry, some compounds can exist with the same chemical formula, eg; the same numbers of molecules, but in two (or more) forms which are usually mirror images of each other. They generally, but not always, react the same in reactions. One way they are distinguished in the lab is to shine light (or other radiation) through them; one form will bend the light this much, the other that much. The two forms are called “cis-XYZ” and the other is called “trans-XYZ”

You feel like you’re a black person, or the opposite sex, or whatever, I guess I don’t really care. But looking for everyone else to believe it is where these folks go off track.
And quite frankly phonies like this dame, Elizabeth Warren, and what’s his name, Ward Churchill? - they’ve done more than just take up another identity, they’ve used those identities fraudulently to advance themselves. I think that is wrong.
Suppose Bruce Jenner had decided to “transform” into a woman decades ago and had competed as a woman in the Olympics, that would be have been straight up fraud. This is what these 3 have done.

My take is that both Melissa and Deborah have uncovered yet another race/gender class which I dub Trans-Gibberish©. Al Sharpton, Sheila Jackson-Lee, and Cynthia McKinney, and that island tipping dude should form a new caucus.

Perhaps with this "self-identification" stuff, and the whole "cis-gender, transgender" thing, they've finally pushed their positive so far that it became a negative (for them) and a positive for our side.

They've got so many literally crazy people on their bandwagon, they can't start casting them off without causing a huge riot on their side.
So you know what they're going to do? I'll tell you what they're going to do...
They're going to lose. They're going to lose the next election, and drop the whole unmanageable mess on the GOP. Then they'll wage guerilla war from the sidelines while letting our side take all the arrows and shed the blood.
This has been their strategy forever.
