No—the whole point of TPP is to grease the skids so that a vote for TPP (and TiSA and T-TiP) is all but inevitable.

You’re the one falling for the ruse that voting for TPP isn’t more or less voting to guarantee the passage of TPP, TiSA, and T-TiP.

The GOP does this all the time. They vote for the procedures that assure Democrats a victory, and then say, “But we didn’t vote for that!”

Will you stop implying that voting for something that removes the ability of Congress to act in their Constituitional role and amend trade legislation is ok? Will you stop implying that ivoting for legislation that gives the President authority to advance a secret trade agreement and carries significant implications to immigration policy and sovereignty?

A vote for TPA is a vote that virtually guarabtees the. passage of TPP due to it’s lowering of the needed votes to pass. Stop pretending otherwise.

Any dolt can see that voting for TPA makes the TPP far more likely to pass. So a vote for TPA is in fact a vote for the eventuality of TPP.

Thank you. I was just getting ready to post the same but decided to read further. Plus since the TAA didn't pass, it makes the TPA moot.

Plus, I'm sick of posters here confusing the secrecy of the multi-nation negotiations for TPP (which is on-going) with the open TPA and TAA bills. What happened to the reading abilities of so many on this forum, not to mention logical analysis?
