U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) warns:
It appears there will be another attempt by Tuesday to force through new executive powers for President Obama. A vote for TAA next week is a vote to send fast-track to the Presidents desk and to grant him these broad new executive authorities. If that happens, it will empower the President to form a Pacific Union encompassing 40 percent of the worlds economy and 12 nationseach with one equal vote. ... Fast-track will not only apply to the Pacific Union, but can expedite an unlimited number of yet-unseen international compacts for six years. There are already plans to advance through fast-track the Trade in Services Agreement, the goal of which includes labor mobility among more than 50 nations, further eroding the ability of the American people to control their own affairs.
Americans do not want this, did not ask for it, and are pleading from their hearts for their lawmakers to stop it.
The same people projecting the benefits of leaping into a colossal new economic union could not even accurately predict the impact of a standalone agreement with South Korea. The latter deal, which promised to boost our exports to them $10 billion, instead only budged them less than $1 billion, while South Koreas imports to us increased more than $12 billion, nearly doubling our trading deficit. This new agreement will only further increase our trading deficit: opening our markets to foreign imports while allowing our trading partners to continue their non-tariff barriers that close their markets to ours. ...

Oh and PAUL RYAN, VOWS: THIS IS NOT OVER YET!
Make no mistake Paul Ryan along with Obama want to hand over what George Washington set up over 200 years ago to foreign Wolves....
12 nationseach with one equal vote
Wonder what would they be voting on?
Get rid of the ferret O’Connell and replace him with Jeff Sessions.
My understanding is that TAA is only a job displacement/unemployment bill that has no legal restriction preventing the president from using the just passed TPA to fast track bills such as the TPP. How do you see it?

Surely this can’t be true. Ted Cruz said it was good for America!
He wouldn’t be hustling us for his globalist pals, would he?
Would he?
Who’s for dinner?
No.
Supposedly all three pieces of legislation are supposed to pass or it goes back to the senate. But of course this being caesar’s congress, so the rules are flexible and in the end, they’ll do whatever they damn well please. And if it screws the middle class, so be it. Actually they see that as a twofer.
They have 2 of them passed, and the third was a ‘show’ vote, shell game vote.
There’ll be no problem passing TAA when it is most advantageous to passing TPP.
well these 50 plus nations also have to sign over their lives to Obama ,LOL
He already has. And then lied to us all about it.
Cruz is a fraud and a traitor.
TAA looks to be an essential part of TPA. TPA can’t move forward unless TAA gets passed later, or it gets stripped from TPA and TPA and gets re-voted on floor votes again both the House and the Senate...
” ...Even with the TPA approval, the bill cant move forward without all of its provisions[TAA] winning approval. John Boehner himself moved to reconsider the TAA measure later today, but that wide margin on TAAs defeat, its still looking like Mission Impossible. “

It is starting to feel like we are going to have to start organizing protests and making the lives of these Republican Traitors a living Hell.
This money may help the government cronies, but it's not going to help the displaced workers because after they train there won't be any jobs. We already have a high unemployment rate disguised because currently people can't collect unemployment for very long. It was two years of unemployment when Obama first came into office. Now it is a lower weekly amount and 20 weeks in some parts of the country. People have given up finding jobs or are working at low waged part time jobs. They no longer count as unemployed. These displaced workers will just join the ranks of the unemployed. And if the trade deal was so good, why should there be displaced workers in the first place.
Jeff Sessions is right. While we are all chatting on FR tonight the GOPe rats are somewhere drinking martini’s, eating a steak and plotting how to twist arms and bribe enough reps to change their vote on TAA next week. You can bet on it.
Ryan, Boehner, McCarthey et al will not rest until they deliver TPA to Obama and satisfy their big corporate masters.
I agree. It has to be well-organized though.
