NEVER will America trust Cruz after this.
First he said he did not read TPA, then he
claims he did (except for footnotes).
And I do not care that he defends himself
because of his past performance.
Cruz sold us out! He is no longer Conservative (never mind his record). He is a globalist. He is bought and paid for. He is losing his base. He is a traitor. He is horrible! He is almost like Satan now.
There, beat the trolls.
Bottom line, folks, he gave his explanation. It seems reasonable to those who want to actually pay attention. So, for your agenda driven Paulies, Walkerbots, newfound Trumpites, etc...stop being polyanna’s and tell us why we should support YOUR candidate of choice.
Cruz or lose!
The problem with passing TA is that it makes TPP much easier to pass.
Take the time to read Cruz’s statement.
Massive over reaction by many.
Makes no sense. TPA gives the authority to implement TPP under near secretive rules.
How do you support that AND love liberty?
Just tried to call Cruz’s office in DC. His staff are not answering calls and his VM box is full. He’s getting it big time.
For the record I am, or was, a Cruz supporter. He does say the TPP is still under negotiation and then later says we have not joined the immigration section of TPP.
I assume after TPA is passed we can join the immigration section.
This is bad.
Yeh Teddy good luck backing out of the swamp now with all the alligators clinging to your azz. :-)
Here are 7 reasons why the House of Representatives should vote NO on TPA (as stated in “7 Reasons Why Trade Promotion Authority/Fast Track Must Be Defeated” by William F. Jasper, TheNewAmerican.com, June 5, 2015):
TPA is essential to passage of the very dangerous TPP and TTIP.
TPA is a “bum’s rush” that ratifies a secret, corrupt process and aims to ratify a secret, corrupt product.
TPA is an unconscionable abdication of constitutional responsibility by Congress.
TPA not only hands power to Obama, but to his successor as well.
TPA is another giant step in the unconstitutional transfer of congressional authority to the president.
TPA also challenges the Constitution by violating the requirement that treaties be ratified by a super-majority vote of two-thirds of the U.S. Senate.
The TPA will speed the transfer of immense power to federal and international judges to eviscerate the Constitution; to strike down federal, state, and local laws; and to legislate from the bench.
