The House this morning takes up the bill to authorize Obama to negotiate a Trans-Pacific trade deal. Despite the GOP leadership's support, conservatives may well defeat it: they fell by one vote short last night, on a procedural vote on the rule, that would have killed it. Call your congresscritters to vote NO, and post comments and links here if you wish
” At least Cruz has proven that he will not sacrifice principal to pacify the most shrill on the right. “
Cruz has proven he’s dumb enough to vote for something 73% of the American public does not want. Shades of Marco Rubio and the Gang of Eight. Some take longer than others to wise up.
Steve King (R-Iowa_ were hopeful, and expect that the president is going to sign this bill and also abide by the provisions in it.

“Come with me” said the spider to the fly.
Why is she talking so long and what is she talking about?
“Get the Hook”!
She’s under the influence of something.
Obama told her to delay the vote and to kiss his ass!
Its always entertaining to watch a fruitcake talk. Maybe she'll run against Hillary :)
You think in the backroom Obammy has decided he doesn’t want it with the restrictions of immigration and climate?
She has to determine which way the wind is blowing!
Wow. Like anyone can trust Bammy’s scorched earth last days in office :-/
Rollcall tweets help me understand what goes on...
“Matt Fuller @MEPFuller
FYI: Nancy Pelosi can be direct and forceful. I’ve seen it. This is a maundering, weird defense of voting for trade while voting against it. “
Don’t know why the GOPe is giving the Dems such a clear chance to be populist defenders of the common man- when they’re not.
Per Neil Cavuto, Pelosi has come out against the bill and wants to slow the process of consideration down.
She wants more time to get some part of her agenda added in to this....
***Paul Ryan- Tremendous Sellout Artist Alert***
Yep, but that would give everyone on both sides time to reload.
Good points by Ryan, but the legislation is too flawed.
And we’re no longer in the ‘superior’ position in trade negotiations. We’re beggars now.
Don’t worry..Pelosi won’t sell you out.
Voting now on Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) 15 minute vote. CSPAN saying if this doesn’t clear the rest likely will not be voted on.
The Chamber of Commies owns the GOP and do what they want.
Pray America is waking
Sadly I think it will pass by 1 or 2 votes.
54 yes... 59 no.... 11 minutes to go
