On MSNBC today, Washington Post reporter Janell Ross hinted that Jeb Bush was covering up a major family scandal -- but she offered no proof or explanation for her comments. Even the MSNBC host made an effort to distance herself and her network from the Post reporter's comments.
"I guess I was rather stunned, I guess, to hear that these things had been written in a book at a time when the governor probably had his own issues that he was struggling with in his personal life," Ross said. "It seems like a strange time in your life to suggest that public shaming is a good way to address problems."

If it happened in 1995, it happened after he lost the election to Lawton Chiles in 1994 so it probably has to do with drugs, alcohol, depression and cheating.
A historical analogy would be calling out GHWB for not disclosing GWB's run-in with the law.

To me the real scandal is that when he married her, he became an ideological Mexican Citizen.
Why would a belief in public morality be inconsistent with personal shame? The reporter simply reveals the left’s game plan, which is to make all their worst behavior acceptable. A healthy person doesn’t have to insist that society praise them for their mistakes.
Based on current "journalistic" standards of just reprinting opposition research ... Maybe he has a boat big enough that it won't fit inside Hillary's swimming pool (like Rubio's).
(He's not my favorite, and I'd like to see anything that might scuttle his campaign. But I remain skeptical.)
