It also is one of the most secretive of a secretive fleet. As part of my job I occasionally interact with people at Navsea and that boat’s special missions get alluded in some folks comments, but never with any details. Just enough to know that it’s duty cycle is not like any of the other boats in the sub fleet.
Is that the one that had the extra chamber added to it midway? I guess that was the only way to make up for the unfortunate name.
