My guess is that the foreign countries have outbid the American voter. That's likely it.
And foreign interests have been outbidding the American voter and infesting our "news" organizations and other institutions for years.

"the House has voted to to repeal a law requiring country-of-origin labels on packages of beef, pork and poultry."It doesn't say they are outlawing labels. I always buy Texas first and then USA. So...get the label machines ready!

Its not the fed, its the WTO/Free Trade crap...
WTO court found US in violation had they not done this would have meant trade sanctions against the US etc...
WTO and NAFTA were just ways to implement global government discretely.

Soon no more “Look For the Union Label” Or “Made in The U.S.A." Discriminatory. Unions will love that.
I could care less about the Unions. I do care that the World Trade Organization and Congress put the financial interests of other nations ahead of my choice as an American Consumer.

“where animals were born, raised and slaughtered are discriminatory against the two U.S. border countries.
So....that’s the excuse/lie for everything nowadays. Oversensitivity and the placating of it is ruining this country.
Currently my grocery chain displays where seafood is caught/or farm raised....guess thats gotta stop too.

Worth repeating:
It seems to me they are representing the foreign countries and NOT...., We The People.

I wouldn't worry quite as much about Chinese beef as Chinese (long) pork...

Doesn’t this only repeal mandatory country of origin labeling. Would it stop an American meat company from putting “All American” on its products (assuming they were indeed all American)? I don’t think so.
I personally avoid Chinese foodstuffs like the plague when I can determine origin, and I would definitely pay more for something guaranteed to not be Chinese. However, I don’t think manufacturers should be forced to label country of origin. That should be optional.

Although I really like the Thai shrimp my grocer sells, I am a little concerned that it may have something to do with my third testicle.............and why it’s bigger than my other two. :)

WTF? Did I awake this morning to reports from the Onion? The GOP has lost what it had left of it’s mind. THe Dims never had one and I guess the GOP thought “well that looks like fun” and lost theirs.

Tasty shrimp from Asia, where they build chicken cops above the shrimp ponds.Enjoy.

Look on the positive side: now we can buy cheap horse meat from Mexico disguised as beef.
To: Enlightened1
Under threat of trade retaliation from Canada and Mexico, the House has voted to to repeal a law requiring
country-of-origin labels on packages of beef, pork and poultry.
Why not? We did it for a presidential candidate and look how well that worked out.
