Ryan was a darling GOP poster child during the last election.

FR Rinos are and embarrassment and disgusting.

After reading both sides, there is no way Sessions is wrong.

A secretive and extreme bill and process.

Finally, ‘free trade’ has not helped the USA.

Nadler is voting no. Just called his office a few hours ago. Always call the DC office, not the local office (my experience, anyway).

Its looking like only about 20 Democrats are going to support TPA/TPP so it just might fail.

TPA requires any agreement to be made public at least 60 days before a vote. Concerned about transparency? TPA allows every Members of Congress to read negotiating text and receive briefings at any time

Ha...there are statutes on the books requiring between 60 days and 2 years before making any changes to social security and immigration policies........and why Judge Hansen put a stop to Obama's immigration dictates.

As with all legislation including enabling acts; find the unintended consequences and embrace the suck because the suck will far outweigh the intended purpose of the action passed by Congress.

Do these apologist realize any history regarding the abuse of legislation and administrative law? The Constitution already has an explicit procedure that outlines treaty formulation. This is just Congress trying to bypass the enumeration and like administrative law, shift a lot of Congress’ power to the Executive Branch all for the perverted notion of “expediency” and making the process less cumbersome.

Morons and short-sighted historical ignoramuses who I guess long for some type of monarchy and star chambers, get a clue, there are very good reasons why this process is cumbersome, dragged out, and hard to approve; one being the founders understood the tyrannical power of monarchs, their decrees, and agencies that undermined the written enumerated laws. Long live the Corporists I guess. "The rich control the government, the media the law"

They’re doing what they’re told to do. It has to be because they’re being blackmailed. That means they’re all dirty as hell. And Ryan is getting a little snippy because he’s afraid of what will happen to him if this doesn’t pass. And the gop is carrying the water for the democrats. They hope it passes. They just don’t want to vote for it.

As for me, I won’t vote for another republican.

The Democrats oppose this because they are subservient to Big Labor Unions who have a vested interest in protectionism as the primary source of unions’ income.

Can we the people have a vote of no confidence in the whole DC cabal? That’s really what this is about. We have no guarantees that DC won’t undo the whole Republic and its Constitution behind closed doors without letting anybody know, because that’s what they’ve been doing in increments for at least the last 5 years. I think we’re scared spitless of DC doing ANYTHING because we know they are the enemy and that once they sell us into slavery there’s no turning back without a lot of bloodshed.

Maybe it’s too late to skip the bloodshed anyway, if we know things are that out of control. When the level of trust is this low it’s pretty much a King George type of deal and all that’s left is to compile the list of grievances and go ahead with the dissolution of the untrusted ruling class. I don’t know if there’s any way for the polital-media ruling class to gain the trust of the people again.

Just thinking out loud.

The Republicans will be trying to finish what they started last week.

And still I don't have any answers on that one simple question.

Why do Republicans want to give obama more power?

We need someone who can Trump this.....or will it be an all trumped up situation?

At least Trump is saying the right stuff......which is what it is all about. If the politician can’t explain why he says something, he doesn’t get my vote. If he says that its secret and I need to wait....and its not a National Security Issue....he doesn’t get my vote.

So I’m listening to what Trump has to say on Immigration. Because trade agreements can be cancelled but amnesty last forever.

I see that they're trying to move forward with Trade Promotion Authority in the house as I type.

WHY do Republicans want to give Obama more power?
