The Montana Class were to have had 12 big guns on two sets of turrets each side.
They were all canceled in July of 1943.
btw, Although BB 66 was never completed, the bow of the Kentucky was used to repair the bow of the Wisconsin after the Wisconsin was damaged in a collision in 1955.
The HP/LP turbines and reduction gears from the Kentucky were used to power AOE-1 USS Sacramento, and AOE-2 USS Camden.
