The federal government is strongly urging employers to give transgender employees access to bathrooms that correspond to their gender identity, marking a new policy front in the fast-moving campaign for transgender equality.
In a four-page Guide to Restroom Access for Transgender Workers, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration advises employers on “Best Practices” concerning restroom access for these employees: “… It is essential for employees to be able to work in a manner consistent with how they live the rest of their daily lives, based on their gender identity,” the guide says.
“Restricting employees to using only restrooms that are not consistent with their gender identity, or segregating them from other workers by requiring them to use gender-neutral or other specific restrooms, singles those employees out and may make them fear for their physical safety,” OSHA, an arm of the Labor Department wrote, posting the guide on its Web site last week.
In some workplaces, “questions can arise… about which facilities certain employees can use,” OSHA said, then explained that someone’s “internal gender identity” may be different from the sex they were assigned at birth. “A person who identifies as a man should be permitted to use men’s bathrooms, and a person who identifies as a woman should be permitted to use women’s restrooms.”

Republicans should present the “Elimination of Gender specific bathrooms.” Bring it up in front of congress for a vote.
Democrats will look at the bill, debate whether they want the womens’ vote bad enough and go on the offensive to kill it.
Republicans then come back and announce the folly of this entire gender identification fad.

When the Norks, of all people, use an EMP missile to wipe out the US’s electrical infrastructure in a single minute, there will be the guy who wrote this four page guide to restroom gender identification. He will sit, starving in his DC area apartment, listening as the bandits are scavenging and killing people in the other apartments on his floor, and not realize that he brought it on himself.

I think ours are homegrown. Liberals. They serve both roles. Cause of the destruction and actual destroyers.
This is an absurd topic, as is usual for liberals. Bathrooms are not about what is in your head (usually bats or butterflies with leftists); bathrooms are about plumbing. No matter whether a nutty democrat thinks it is male, female, or a puppy, if it has human male genitals, it should use the men’s room. Whether a democrat fruitcake thinks it is male, female, or a puppy, if it has human female genitals, it should use the women’s room.
Could this all be avoided if instead of “MEN” and “WOMEN” signs we had three-paragraph signs referencing either DNA or external genitalia? It’s a stupid argument but worth it to avoid letting the old male pedophile democrats have access to public restrooms used by little girls.
If you go to many restaurants today ( at least here in the New York City area ), many of them have ONE bathroom that cater to both male and female ( a lot of Starbucks have that ).
This of course is not possible in train stations or large venues where urinals that cater for males are needed to cater for large crowds.
Nobody here seems to be the least bit disturbed that the feds are insinuating themselves into this matter, but only the specific stand they are taking. Pledge allegiance to your government. One nation under tyranny.
